My name is Sam, and over the next few months I’ll be giving you a sort of a personal look into the Electronic Dance Music scene in Colorado.  The information and thoughts I’ll be posting will be mostly directed towards anyone who listens to any kind of dance music or anyone interested in the scene.

I’ll be posting my own reviews of raves and shows, particular artists’ performances, and recorded/album music.  Since I am an amateur artist and producer myself, I spend a lot of my free time listening to and analyzing all types of dance music.  I go to a lot of raves, shows, and club nights featuring artists and DJs from not only the local community but big international headliners.  I’ll also be putting up fliers for upcoming shows, and telling you which ones will be worth your time and money.

I am a huge fan of all music in general, and I have delved into the subcultures surrounding many of my favorite genres.  Electronic Dance Music is my absolute favorite.  It’s so versatile.  The ranges of sound that can be created is almost infinite, and new instruments can be created to sound however the artist wants.

I hope you will find this stuff as interesting as I do, and I am looking forward to telling you all about it over the next few months.  If you have any questions or anything, post them in a comment and I’ll do my best to answer and update this page.
